The Office of International Relations is located at Baird Hall. It has two major roles: administering the entrance examination for new students and coordinating the international exchange work. Its entrance examination administration task involves receiving foreign students and helping them adjust to school life. As for its international exchange task, the most important subtask is that of sending SSU students to foreign universities. There are 115 foreign universities with which the school has student exchange agreements, including a number of universities in Japan and China as well as non-Asian countries like the U.S. and U.K. Recently, UK Leicester University, Kalrasalringeom University in India, Katowice School of Economics in Poland, Hawaii Pacific University, Beijing Jiaotong University, and University of Sevilla in Spain entered into an agreement with SSU. The Office of International Relations selects exchange students in March and September. It chose about 110 exchange students last semester, and the number is expected to rise.
