Jeannie Suk’s special lecture was held in Soongsil university on January 18. Jeannie Suk is the first Asian woman to become a lifetime professor at Harvard Law School. She was received attention because of creative teaching method and new thinking about law education at Harvard law school. The American Association of Asia-Pacific Lawyers reported that she is currently one of the best lawyers under 40. She is also the author of the book The World That I Wanted to See. The book was published on January 1, 2013. The subject of this lecture was Jeannie Suk’s art, life, and law. She talked about her life and how she became the first Asian woman to become a lifetime professor at Harvard Law School, and about the main contents of her aforementioned recently published book. People can learn principles that author has kept in her heart. And she also gave advice to the young South Koreans. A fee was charged for the lecture, and many people reserved a ticket at Interpark or KT&G Imagination Yard. The Soongsil University students, however, had a chance to participate in it for free if they reserved tickets via he Soongsil University library program.
