NICKY'S COFFEE
Between the library and Westminster Hall, Nicky’s Coffee shop is popular among the students. Nicky’s coffee shop has dealt in tasty beverage at reasonable prices for over 4 years. In summer season strawberry smoothie has been the most popular drink, but oreo shake becomes students’
favorite recently. Winter season sees hot latte drinks in great demand. Nicky’s coffee shop takes a lot of pride in immediate hot and fresh shot. The owner of Nicky’s coffee shop said, “I always do my best. Students are my beloved children to me. I am really thankful to them. I wish everything remains the same as now.”
EBISU
Ebisu, which is located in Hyung-nam Engineering Hall, is special for a large and cozy room
space. Oreo shake is the most popular drink, but citron yogurt shake is recommended as Ebisu’s
special by manager. Unlike any other coffee shop, Ebisu is the one and only place where people can keep their stamp card at cafe. Those stamp card selections are unique to Ebisu. In this place, an unusually warm atmosphere is everywhere. Customers stamp each other’s card as a gift. While Ebisu keeps stamp card storage service, there is no worry about the lost card stamp. This worry-free policy makes Ebisu more extraordinary among engineering students.
WANT COFFEE
Want Coffee is tucked away in Ahn Eak-tai Memorial Hall, so it might be a little unfamiliar to some students. Being so, the main clients of Want Coffee are music major students studying at Ahn
Eak-tai Memorial Hall. But somehow many students come down to Want Coffee, hearing about its popular bagel, which is the cheapest and delicious all around the campus. Although Want Coffee mainly deals in coffee, beverages like smoothie and ade are high-selling drinks. Hot and sweet citron tea and bagle are the highest-selling menu in Want Coffee. According to the manager, the most important point about Want Coffee is this: “Young and handsome male baristas are always at your service.”
ARUMDAUN SESANG
Coffee shop ‘Arumdaun Sesang’ which is located in 4th floor of Student’s union, was founded by
Soongsil Living Cooperative Association. For the proximity to cafeteria, lots of student visit here to have a coffee as a dessert. In summer season, this cafe is bustling with people looking for Yogurbara, the freshly made yogurt ice cream with fruit slices. Its resonable price is also big reason of popularity. Shop serves many kinds of organic food. Organic products except beverages in Arumdaun Sesang are a quality item but the problem is that they are expensive to students. All beverages served in this shop come from fair traded product.
COFFEE AND TEA STORY
Next to wooden stairs, this place is better known as a ‘Jo Man-sik Coffee shop’ than its original
name. It is hard to say how many Soongsilians know its original name. The real name of this cafe is “Coffee and Tea Story.” This shop is a year old, yet in spite of its young age there are always a large number of customers in line. Coffee and Tea Story serves coffee not only at a quick speed but also with sincerity no matter how many customers are waiting in line. “This is the big advantage of Coffee and Tea Story,” the manager said. In addition to the particularity in swift service, Coffee and Tea Story opens shop even on holidays and weekends. Oreo Shake is the most popular drink in summer time. In Winter Soongsil Latte, oreo flavored cafe latte is the most popular among others.
