SSU’s advertisement won various awards in the Advertising Grand Prize. The ad in 2013 used the image of “first penguins” and received compliments from many experts. As expected, it won the first prize in Joongang Grand Prize and in the awarding ceremonies held by Hankyoreh, Financial News, Asia Economy Daily, and Kyunghyang Shinmun, including a lot of prestigious awards from other institutions.
SSU’s Public Relations Team teamed up with Serviceplan Korea and came up with an advertisement using pictures of “first penguins.” The first penguins are those that take the first courageous dive from among those in their group. The message and concept of this ad “Challenge, Vision, and Creation” was effectively delivered through the penguins’ features.
The experts from Hankyoreh commented on SSU’s ad,saying, “The advertisement maintains SSU’s own color, and it masterfully depicted the circumstances of the students and of the whole South Korean nation as well.”
The Public Relations Team said that the many awards that SSU recently received are a clear proof of the sharp rise of SSU’s brand value.
