Recently, a lot of people preferred to buy imported snacks due to the price hike of the Korean snacks, and the amount of nitrogen. Furthermore, it is now easier to find an imported snack shop than in the past. This time, the ST introduces some imported snacks after having tasted them.

Timtam(Indonesia)
The ST highly recommended this to those people who like chocolates and other sweets. Actually, Timtam is the most popular imported snack among our recommendation list. The funny thing is that you can also find on the internet information on how to taste a delicious Timtam. There was disappointment on the ST’s face upon opening the snack wrapper due to the small quantity. There were only 4 snacks. However, after the initial tasting, the ST’s disappointment has changed to surprise. Although there were only 4 snacks, they were filled with rich chocolate. As a result, the ST’s final evaluation is that Timtam is a good snack filled with well-mixed chocolate and biscuit.

Milano (Taiwan)
The attractive wrapper appealed to the customers. Most people think that the snack’s name originated from Europe.

Actually, Milano is a product of Taiwan. This two-fold snack has just one line, which is “Nune-ddine”, and it is mixed with almond and white chocolate. However, it comes as a surprise that the almond could not be found in the snack. It only had the almond scent. Despite this fact, the ST recommends Milano for those who love to eat Nune-ddine.

Powdered soybean snack: Hunwarimaijin kinakomojji (Japan)
This mysterious snack consists of six bags, and similar to other Japanese snacks, this soybean snack is also neatly divided. When the ST came across this snack, we thought of the soybean powdered jelly. The most interesting thing is when the soybean snack touches the tongue, it just melts like snow. Or the snacks just swim in the tongue. The taste is similar to the Injeolmi. People from all walks of life might love this mysterious powdered soybean snack. The original flavor is very aromatic. There are also other flavors to choose from, such as the cheese and wasabi. The ST recommends this powdered soybean snack to people who love to eat Injoelmi.

Mega chok (Espana)
Mega chok has 4 flavors, namely, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and lemon. The ST has only tasted the vanilla flavor. Mega chok is similar to the Korean snack, Crownsando; however, Mega chok is bigger in size. The average price of Mega chok, which is 1000 won, is also cheaper than the other brand. For this reason, the ST recommends this to people who want satisfaction in value.

French Pretzels (Poland) French Pretzels
Here comes another two-fold snack! This snack’s name is obviously French; however, the product itself actually came

from Poland. This is similar to the Korean cookie, “Mother’s Pie”. Nevertheless, French Pretzels are softer than “Mother’s pie”. The ST has briefly explained this Polish snack, it just like the butter-flavored pretzel. The snack’s taste will be salty due to the amount of salt in it. When a person takes a bite of this cookie, it is definitely sweet. According to gastrology, when salt is added to any sweet food, the sweetness is increased. The ST recommends this Polish cookie for people who love to drink coffee or tea.

Cappuccino Waper Sticks (Various contries)
Wafer sticks are also one of the most popular imported snacks in Korea. There are different flavors available in the market. The ST was sampling a wafer stick in cappuccino flavor. Tastes are just similar with other wafer stick, but scent of cappuccino remains in the tongue. It just like tongue falls out in the cappuccino bath. Also the strong coffee scent lingers in the air. The ST highly recommends this to people who crave coffee and chocolate flavors in one snack.

Tatawa Chocochip Cookie (Malaysia)

Tatawa cookie is made by a Japanese company in Malaysia. It looks similar to the Korean cookie, “Margaret”, and it has a chocolate flavor. One of the good things in a Tatawa Cookie is its individual packing. There were approximately 10 packages. Tatawa’s this kind of packing is actually kind of revolution in snacks. This packing is really help for large family. There is no reason to fight with cookies. The ST recommends this chocolate cookie to chocoholics.

Based on product sampling, the ST initially thought that some of the imported snacks were sweeter and saltier than the Korean snacks. Imported snacks provide satisfaction per price, as compared with Korean snacks in the same condition. Actually, the imported snack has no special taste, as compared with the Korean snack. It is a good time for the Soongsilians to try imported snacks. Recently, a new imported snack shop (JJoco Market) has opened near SSU. JJoco Market sells popular imported snacks. Fortunately, the snack shop willingly suggested a 5% discount coupon for Soongsilians. Now is the time to avail of these imported snacks with a 5% discount coupon!
