An awarding ceremony for the 3rd Soongsil Industrial Convergence Idea Contest took place in Baird Hall on December 22. The contest has been held since 2012 by Soongsil Convergence Research Institute (SCRI) to discover and support students’ creative ideas. SCRI aims to merge different fields, such as natural science and engineering, and humanities and arts. Among the 48 teams that participated in this year’s contest, the grand prize was awarded to Team LAB808 from Seoul National University of Science and Technology. A member of Team LAB808 commented, “Sharing ideas with students from other fields led us to a better result.”
