On December 8, SSU won the 51st Joongang Advertisement Best Communication Prize for its “Be the Leader of the New Era” advertisement. This is a very meaningful achievement because the award was given based on the opinions of trusted advertisement agency specialists. Also, the readers’ votes accounted for 40% of the rating. The advertisement received great reviews for its message that a Soongsilian is a leader who helps the country prepare for unification. It also shows the motto of SSU.
SSU also won the Kyunghyang Advertisement Bronze Prize and the Asia Today Advertisement Silver Prize. It is important to point out that SSU is the only university that has ever received these prizes. In addition, last November, it was announced that SSU’s advertisement made it to the final list of candidates for the 2015 Korea Advertisement.
