SSU Honors Program
The Soongsil Honors Program (SHP) is a program designed for the purpose of developing the Soongsil elite, in which selected students will have the opportunity to study for up to one year at the world's leading universities. This program makes it possible to secure both education and cultural experiences at the highest level of universities in two countries at most, and that the credits earned in the other country will be recognized by their original university.
Eligibility is open for undergraduates who will be selected as fall semester exchange students. The application period begins in June, and is held only once a year. The required include a copy of the SHP program application, a copy of the self-introduction letter and an academic plan, a copy of the transcript, and a copy of the official foreign language proficiency certificate.
Let's learn more about the selection process. In the first document screening, students must meet both the standard of the school and the relative school. In the second selection process, the student`s self introduction letter and foreign language interview will comprise 50 percent each. A preliminary candidate will be selected by the school, and the final successful candidate will be decided only among the prospective applicants of the school.
