On October 11, SSU held an "SSU 121 DREAMING CONCERT" at 6:30 p.m. at the Han Kyung-Jik Memorial Hall. The concert began with Carmen's prelude, followed by ‘Pyeongyang Sungsil school song’ , ‘Memory’, ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’, ‘Libiamo’, and ‘I Believe I Can Fly’.
Hwang Jun-seong, SSU President, said in a statement, "I would like to thank you for putting these emotions and acts of gratitude into beautiful melodies, and providing a venue to reflect and further sublimate the brilliant musical tradition of Pyongyang's royal family." Furthermore, the president added, “Through this 121 Dreaming Concert, I would like to remind you of the founding spirit of SSU, which was filled with truth and service. SSU was established in 1897 in Pyongyang, voluntarily closed its doors to the shrine in 1938, and was rebuilt in Seoul in 1954, leading to the era of a unified Korea through the educational spirit of truth and service.”
