SSU and Chung-Ang University hosted the first joint contest on book presentation at SSU’s Hyungnam Memorial Engineering Building on October 1.
There were six competing teams, three from SSU, and three from Chung-Ang University. Each team had chosen a book they wanted before the contest, and presented what they thought about the book. The three teams who represented SSU were winners of SSU`s book presentation contest last semester.
Panel members and student audience rated the teams. The grand prize was awarded to the ‘Hou’ team from the Global School of Media of SSU.
Kim Myeong-ho, the Dean of the Office of Knowledge and Information, said that through this joint contest with Chung-Ang University, he hopes that students from both universities can learn how to read deeply and broaden their manner of expression.
The joint contest on book presentation is part of the interchange on the book reading programs of SSU and Chung-Ang University. The second joint contest will be held at Chung-Ang University.
