SSU has prepared three programs, namely, ▲ career · psychological counseling support, ▲ employment support, and ▲ startup support, and presented a systematic roadmap. In particular, by composing the stages of ‘Kkaeum’ in the first, ‘Kium’ in the second and third grades, ‘Irum’ in the fourth grade, and ‘Ieum’ after graduation, they help everyone, from freshmen to students who couldn‘t get a job after graduation so that they could understand themselves and explore their careers.Particularly, SSU has established a strong start-up infrastructure. First, the startup pump venture studio consists of mentoring rooms, project rooms, co-working spaces, and terrace spaces. Challenge stations, 365 stations, and Tech stations (new construction) were built as dedicated buildings for early start-ups. The Tech Station, which was newly built in October, consists of a 3D creation center with 3D printers, scanners, and PCs, including 24 spaces for start-ups and 5 spaces for growth companies, and photo and UCC studios. A software joint device support for software research and development will be established to serve as a forward base for innovative start-ups.
SSU’s start-up support space will be further expanded to oversee the operation of the start-up center and the Seoul Campus Town creation project. It plans to support consulting through the space for start-up companies, expansion of startupsupport processes, and regional win-win programs. Along with this, it will also push for start-up support services that meet trends, such as establishing an AI(artificial intelligence)-related technology mentor POOL and opening AI-based startup-related courses.
