On June 22, 2022, a business agreement ceremony between SSU and SK Shielders was completed on the 4th floor of Baird Hall. The business agreement between SSU and SK Shielders aims to foster future talents and promote cooperative projects through industry-university cooperation.
Through the business agreement with SK Shielders, SSU’s ‘University Job Plus Project’ and ‘Industry-University Cooperation Foundation’ operate a standard co-op system, develop an industry-university-research education program for employment and nurturing talent, and develop an industry-academic cooperation company support program. SSU plans to establish and expand an industry-academic cooperation model to educate future talents. Soongsilians have responded favorably, as they have the opportunity to build broader experience through the support of SK Shielders.
Vice President Lee Won-cheol of SSU said, “We look forward to creating a model for industry-university cooperation where companies and schools coexist by actively reflecting the changes in the industrial field through industry-academia cooperation and nurturing of future talents.” It was foreshadowed that spurs would be made to build win-win cooperation. Through an active cooperation plan with companies, Soongsilians’ interest in the future of SSU has started pouring in.
