The Soongsil University Global Future Education Institute (Director Jung Jae-woo) signed a business agreement with KMGA (Korea Mobile Game Association, CEO Hwang Sung-ik) on the first floor of SSU’s Computer Science Institute on January 12th. This agreement announced that the two organizations would plan to establish a cooperation system, and actively promote industry-university cooperation for joint research of developing a game curriculum, support toward game developers, and employment links.
Director Jung said, “We are striving to create a new educational environment that will lead the metaverse and game industries in the 4th industrial era. It is very meaningful to sign this agreement with the KMGA at the stage of fostering experts in the field of gaming, which is considered Korea’s representative content. We expect that it will be a good opportunity for the two organizations to help each other in the future.” To this CEO Hwang replied, “We will jointly establish a job system for outstanding students in the field of gaming, anticipating cooperation and exchange for the operation of a training curriculum for professionals in the gaming industry.”
