   Twenties
   Need to Show
   Their Passion

In summer 2008, people come out to streets with candles in their hands instead of going to the Han river to beat the heat unlike last summer. The night goes on with a song called “"Article 1 of the Korean Constitution”" which begins with, ‘'Korea is a democratic republic. All the power comes from the people...’'

The pressure of the MB government has caused people to come out to streets. People are participating in this demonstration in a different way they did in the June Democratic Uprising. Teens who are indifferent to politics are also participating in the Candlelight Vigil on the streets.

The twenties started to participate in the Vigils not to feel ashamed and the thirties in order to protect their children.

Twenties who are interested in politics play main roles in the Vigils and it seems that they feel they should act rather than stay silent. We should not neglect them for the reason that they know less about politics and are not leading the country. Only our endless interest and participation would make this country better and more stable. Burning candles will illuminate our days of youth and passion again in summer 2008.
