Candlelight Rally against the National Intelligence Service

The university students of the Seoul Metropolitan Area held a candlelight rally last June 21 in front of the Finance Building at Gwanghwamun, Seoul. Following the initiative of Seoul National University and Ewha Women’s University, 20 universities in the capital region had been participating in the declaration of the current situation, which includes a quick and thorough investigation of the intervention by National Intelligence Service in the presidential election, and of the punishment of the people concerned. Although there have been many candlelight rallies against this matter until now, most of the existing broadcasting companies and news organizations had ignored these.
