Starting from 2018,

"Toilet Without a Trash Can"

The Ministry of Public Administration and Security revised the public toilet laws, and from January 1, 2018, all trashcans were removed from the public toilets. Until now, toilet paper and sanitary pads were piled up randomly in the public toilet trashcans, but the proper management of trashcans such as clearing them had not been conducted fast. The bad smell and appearance had offended the users. Penalties will be imposed for non-performance of such amendment. SSU will also implement this law in all buildings starting from January 1, 2018. Instead of removing the individual trash bin from each cell, a single trash bin will be installed next to the washstand. In the case of the women’s restroom, a separate collection box for sanitary pads will be installed in each cell.
