Autonomous Bus Service from SSU to Chung-Ang University

     Self-driving buses will begin operating in Dongjak-gu from the end of December. There will be stops from the south gate of SSU to the back gate of Chung-Ang University, making transportation even more convenient. The introduction of self-driving buses is expected to greatly improve transportation convenience.

     The autonomous buses were introduced in Dongjak-gu because it has been pointed out that there is a relative lack of transportation infrastructure. In particular, the area is a place where many university students combine their studies and lives, but the inconvenience of public transportation has often led to complaints. As a result, the autonomous bus was able to operate first.

     The ability of buses to navigate their own routes, avoid congested areas, and choose the best route to travel will help save time. However, the possibility of technical errors and unexpected accidents remains, and continuous research and management are needed to compensate for this.
