On December 16, SSU held ‘Meeting for Young Job Seekers’ with An Kyung-deok minister of MOEL(Ministry of Employment and Labor) at Baird Hall and Career Employment Center. The meeting took effect for listening difficulties that young job seekers have during the seeking employment process.
An Gyeong-deok minister introduced KDT(K-Digital Training), National Employment Support System, Youth Employment Support Project, which government made effort for employment for youth during 2021, and recent corporation’s recruit trend. ‘Mock Interviews with Professional Evaluators and Customized Feedback’ of Measures to Reduce the Difficulty of Job Seekers’ announced by Youth Employment Promotion Special Committee on October 28 also took effect as a demonstration. The program is established starting next year, reflecting the voice that youth feel a lot of pressure about private education for interview. In addition, it provides not only mock interviews, which job expert take part in as interviewer, but also individual consulting. A Soongsilian who participated in mock interviews said “It could make opportunity to know how to prepare toget a job. It will be helpful to have this chance in the future.”
Jang Beom-sik president of SSU told that SSU cooperate with Field Training Support Center of SSU to find corporations to connect with at the opening speech. Furthermore, SSU would work hard for activation of employment of youth, making Job Application Network. Since the meeting was finished successfully, participants showed willing to reflect opinions of young job seekers when developing policies afterward.
