The 62nd Student Council of SSU is preparing for the Daedong Festival, which will be held from September 19 to 23, or every year in the fall of the second semester. The Festival Preparation Committee has been busy working for the Daedong Festival since June. According to Yoon Joon-yong, director of the planning bureau of the 62nd Student Council, the festival preparation committee is working on content development for internal program components, starting with the overall festival concept.
It is the first Daedong Festival to be held in three years and thus many students are expecting to see a festival that can show the 62nd Student Council of SSU‘s unique color. Since it is a much larger project than the spring festival in May, it is being faithful to the basics and is developing the 62nd Student Council of SSU special contents. So, expectations will be high as many things are being prepared, including artists’ appearances, night bars, and much larger booth contents.
The festival preparation committee would be working hard to meet such expectations. The committee hopes to continue to draw the attention of our students until the Daedong Festival is held. In addition, since it is a festival hosted by the 62nd Student Council of SSU, I hope that the will to create a festival where students can enjoy content actively rather than passively can be realized.
